(2007 - 2013)

I learned the art and craft of photography in Dublin between 2007-2013. Countless hours in the darkroom at the Gallery of Photography in Temple Bar. My Dublin of 2007 was very different to today. Celtic Tiger Ireland was living in style. Massive investment in the city and its infrastructure; low corporation tax and the landing of the American giants; an open border and a large migrant workforce; and parties, packed restaurants, never ending tunes, street performers, endlessly flowing booze. Rents were high but it didn’t matter. Anything was possible.
