About
“I’ve always been fascinated by how the creative process can result in brilliantly fresh insights and ideas.
As a young student, I delved into the first generation of superstar designers of the 1940s and 50s – Loewy, Dreyfuss, Bel Geddes – in the context of Apple’s late 1990s ascent.
I then joined Apple EMEA in education marketing - London then Paris - and this was followed by applied research roles at Facebook’s Reality Labs, Publicis, the European Commission, and Fjord. Between this, I completed a PhD in design strategy.
My work has always sought to balance theory and its practical application. My doctorate thesis explores the value of design, and how businesses can strategically adopt the creative process. I am a contributor to the latest academic research, as a peer reviewer for design and innovation journals, and as a visiting tutor at Central Saint Martins, where I help students reach their creative potential.
The cornerstones of my approach – design, tech, research and strategy – enmesh in my current writing, research and speaking work. I have developed methodologies that deliver powerful ways to harness scientific analysis and commercial creativity. I have served some of the world’s best brands - Meta, Ford, Lululemon - working on complex and cutting-edge products and experiences that will shape the next decade of humanity.”
